Experience preferred but not necessary Uniform - Tight fitting black clothing & bare feet Lyrical Jazz draws on Jazz Techniques with an emphasis on a more free flowing, emotionally driven style of movement. In this class you will be pushing yourself physically whilst expressing yourself emotionally. Lyrical Jazz has some similarities to certain styles of Contemporary that are more precision and line based. As a style, Lyrical is a great place to test and push what you have learned in other classes like Ballet, Contemporary and Jazz Technique and works as the perfect compliment to these styles. Lyrical is an intermediate level class that requires a level of technical knowledge either from Ballet, Contemporary or Jazz.
